How We Got Here

Then, Ten years later.

Jacob and Jamie Bolinger started with a single duplex purchase in Mound, MN in 2016. What began as a personal investment quickly became something bigger… a hands-on education in what it actually takes to renovate, manage, and grow a real estate portfolio.

Over the next several years, we built our own portfolio, left our full-time jobs, and began taking on renovation projects for other investors. As the work scaled, so did the team, and so did the clients. What started as small rehabs evolved into partnerships with institutional landlords and large portfolio operators who needed someone they could trust to run the whole process.

Today, West Edge operates across three divisions — investments, construction, and realty — with a focus on clients managing assets at scale.

Jacob Bolinger

Co-Founder — Investments & Construction

Jacob leads West Edge's investment advisory and construction operations. With nearly a decade of hands-on experience evaluating, renovating, and repositioning residential assets, he brings a ground-level perspective to every client engagement.

His focus is on portfolio strategy and construction execution, helping portfolio owners determine what to do with their assets, then making sure it gets done. Jacob is the person walking your properties, building your scope, and staying accountable to the outcome.

Jamie Bolinger

Co-Founder — Real Estate

Jamie leads the realtor side of West Edge, with a focus on listings and investor disposition strategy. She works directly alongside the construction team to coordinate the transition from renovation to market, so clients don't have to manage the handoff themselves.

Her background spans all price points and property types, with a particular focus on higher-value residential listings across Minneapolis and the western suburbs. For West Edge's investor clients, she manages the full sale process, from pre-listing preparation through inspection resolution and close.
